Indiana Eagles Lodges Raise Almost $240,000 For Domestic Violence Prevention

The Frankfort Eagles Lodge #976 announced that Indiana State Presidents the Eagles Belinda Young and Mike Lyons were presented with an almost $240,000 sum of fundraiser funds for Domestic Violence Prevention and Awareness.

The Eagles stated that this year, the total raised was $239,556.79 for Domestic Violence Prevention and Awareness, and the total does not include the $28,000 of additional grants that the organization has received statewide.

The Eagles stated that each zone, including Alternatives Inc., Hope Springs, Crisis Connection and St. Jude House, received $59,889.94 to continue their impacts in their respective communities.

“The entire state membership should be proud because today and everyday we truly get to be ‘People Helping People,'” the Frankfort Eagles released. “Our money really does change lives and gives opportunities.”
