Hot Dogs Varsity & JV Soccer Teams Secure Landslide Victories Against Western Boone To Spark A Successful Season Run

The Frankfort Hot Dogs soccer team bounced back from a 2-1 loss against Logansport last Tuesday to claim victory over Western Boone on Thursday as varsity and JV players showcased their skills as they ramp up for the season.

The Hot Dogs Varsity team fell to Logansport on Aug. 22, which lit a fire in the players that led them to a 7-0 victory against Western Boone on Thursday, Aug. 22. During the showdown, Sebastian Mora had a hat trick, and Rigan Campos-Hernandez, Jesus Santillian Sandoval, Oscar Castro and Andres Cuadra Eugarrios each added one goal to the score. Assists were garnered by Fernando Campos, Oscar Castro, Oscar Cordova Flores, Andres Cuadra Eugarrios and Orlando Vasquez-Saavedra, and Sebastian Aguilar Espinoza racked up two saves.

The Hot Dogs JV team bounced back from a 2-2 tie with Logansport on Aug. 22 with a victory against Western Boone with a 9-0 ending score. During the game, Mauricio Valles Hernandez racked up four goals, Angel Lopez secured three more and Miguel Garza and Adrian Sanchez padded the score with one goal each. Angel Lopez had three assists, Alan Carrera-Jimenez had two assists, and Yeshua Rojas, Jhonny Vasquez Valdes, Salvador Carrillo and Alexis Zavala Martinez each had one assist. Jesus Mejia-Mora had one save while Juan Garcia-Chavez had two saves to secure the shutout performance.
