The Hoosierland TV Game of the Week is back tomorrow and features a Hoosier Heartland Conference matchup between two strong rushing offenses.
The Clinton Central Bulldogs enter on a two-game skid, searching for the offensive explosiveness they had in weeks one and two. After defeating Frankfort 30-0 and Faith Christian 63-14, the Bulldogs have dropped the last two contests by a combined score of 72-0.
The Bulldogs’ top objective will be figuring out a way to stop Taylor’s Javionne Harris. The Titan QB leads the conference with 686 rushing yards and 19 total touchdowns.
Clinton Central’s offense features a strong rusher of its own in running back Amrin Barrett. The senior has 525 yards rushing and set a school record when he scored six touchdowns against Faith Christian.
The Titans enter at 3-1 after pulling out a win against Eastern, 21-20, last Friday. Clinton Central sits at 2-2 but is still looking to pick up its first conference win.
Last year, the Bulldogs picked up a big win against Taylor, 48-6.
