Frankfort Varsity girls played a great game Tuesday night against Clinton Prairie but fell short in a close match up 44-41 final score. Frankfort’s team continues to improve and provide a tough defense.
Scoring for the game was Frankfort, Vannessa Guardado was top scorer of the game with 26 points, Ella McAtee 6, Daizy Santos Valdez 4, Saira Flores and Jasmine Rivera each with 2, and Evelyn Vasquez-Bautista added 1 point for the Hotdogs.
Clinton Prairie scoring was Abbey Swan with 16, Taylor Morgan 14, Hyleigh Wilson 8, Emma Nash 4, and Ava Shockley added 2 for the Gophers.
Frankfort will take on Southmont Thursday night at home.
Clinton Prairie will play at Eastern Friday night.
