The Frankfort Police Department celebrated the promotion of two officers to the rank of Sergeant this evening, Monday, Aug. 12 to grant the two men further responsibilities and award their dedication to the team.
Officer Blake Ramos and Officer Freddy Martinez were officially promoted to the rank of Sergeant by the Board of Public Works and Safety this evening, Monday, Aug. 12 to honor their leadership skills by granting them the opportunity to operate at the supervisory staff level.
According to the department, Sgt. Ramus will be assigned to Lt. Zach Nichols while Sgt. Martinez will be assigned to Lt. Brett Dale. Frankfort Police Department Chief Scott Shoemaker shared his thoughts regarding the promotions.
“I am truly proud of Blake and Freddy on their promotions today,” Shoemaker said. “They are great additions to our leadership team.”
