The Frankfort Community Public Library has announced that it will modify the operating hours of the Frankfort location throughout the week this week to ensure the comfort and safety of the patrons, staff and facilities as the library continues to address heating issues.
The library stated that community members may have noticed that the west wing of the library was cooler than usual while the Carnegie section was warmer than normal last week, but the library is currently working on addressing the heating issues and hopes to have the issues corrected by Feb. 21.
The library’s three other branch locations at Rossville, Michigan Road and Mulberry will continue to operate during their normal hours to provide nearly all the same services that are available at the Frankfort location. If the Frankfort location is closed, patrons are encouraged to visit or call one of the other branch locations with any questions about services, e-resources or their library account.
E-resources are available, including Hoopla, Overdrive and more. Community members may visit the website at myfcpl.org/online/ to explore the e-resources available.
Community members are encouraged to visit the library’s Facebook page, website or call 765-654-8746 for updates and hours during this week.
The library did announce today that it plans to be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with some services limited due to building temperatures.
