The holiday season is getting closer, and preparations are underway for the 34th Annual Festival of Lights at TPA Park in Frankfort.
The 2026 Festival of Lights will feature more than 1 million lights throughout the park, creating a holiday display for families and visitors to enjoy.
Frankfort Parks & Recreation crews have been working for the past month and a half installing light displays, strands of lights and decorations. Preparations will continue up to opening night.
Admission to the Festival of Lights is free, although donations are gladly accepted to help continue the annual holiday tradition.
Community members interested in volunteering to help spread holiday cheer and hand out candy canes are encouraged to join the volunteer team.
To volunteer, call 765-659-3422 or email eosborne@frankfort-in.gov. Volunteers will be contacted with additional information.
