Four Area Schools Celebrate National FFA Week 2026

Students across four area schools — Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Rossville and Carroll — will celebrate National FFA Week 2026 from Feb. 23–27 with service projects, themed dress-up days and agricultural activities designed to highlight leadership and community involvement through the National FFA Organization.

Each school has planned a unique schedule of events to engage students and promote agricultural education.

Below is a breakdown of events by school:


Rossville

  • Monday: Day of Service — Walking dogs at Natalie’s Second Chance Shelter in Lafayette, 4–6 p.m. (No bus transportation provided.)

  • Tuesday: Euchre Tournament in the ag barn, 5–7 p.m.

  • Wednesday: Drive Your Tractor to School Day (Forms required; tractors parked by 7:30 a.m.)

  • Thursday: Community Breakfast in the ag barn at 6:30 a.m. (Workers arrive by 6 a.m.)

  • Friday: Elementary Ag Day

Clinton Central

  • Saturday: LDE Mock Contest at Clinton Central High School, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.

  • Sunday: FFA Church at Kirklin Christian Church (Official dress required), 9 a.m.

  • Monday: Donut Eating Contest (SRT, ag shop); Dress-Up Theme: Pajamas

  • Tuesday: Pop the Balloon (SRT, Gym 2); Dress-Up Theme: Animal Print

  • Wednesday: Drive Your Tractor to School; Dress up Red vs. Green

  • Thursday: Teacher’s Only FFA Contest Trivia; Dress up Blue & Gold

  • Friday: Farmers Breakfast (Cooking begins at 5:45 a.m.); Chapter picture in Gym 1 during SRT; Official dress required all day


Clinton Prairie

  • Monday: Pajama Day; Movie Night at 6 p.m. in the ag room

  • Tuesday: Class Color Day

    • Jr. High – Neon

    • Freshmen – Green

    • Sophomores – Pink

    • Juniors – Orange

    • Seniors – Blue

    • Staff – Gold

  • Wednesday: Blue & Gold Day; Appreciation Dinner at 6 p.m. (Members arrive at 5:30 p.m.)

  • Thursday: John Deere vs. Case IH Day; Ag Olympics in the ag shop 5:30pm

  • Friday: Prairie Pride Day (Wear red and black); Elementary Ag Fair Day (during school)


Carroll

  • Monday: Pajama Day (Ice cream at lunch for participation)

  • Tuesday: Tractor Drive-In Day (Wear a hat; park tractors outside ag area)

  • Wednesday: Western Dress Day; Card Game Night, 6–8 p.m.

  • Thursday: Carhartt Day

  • Friday: FFA Day (Wear FFA gear); Popcorn during SRT for FFA shirt wearers


National FFA Week is observed each year to recognize the positive impact agricultural education has on students, preparing them for leadership, personal growth and career success. Organizers across all four schools say the week is designed to build school spirit, strengthen community connections and celebrate the role agriculture plays in everyday life.
