CLINTON & TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces evening lane closures that will last until the morning hours in Clinton and Tippecanoe Counties.
Beginning on or after Tuesday, May 26, INDOT contractors will begin single lane closures on I-65 between State Road 28 and S.R. 38 (158-168-mile markers) between the hours of 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. Work will only take place in 3-mile sections and in one direction at a time.
The purpose of the lane closures is for pavement patching and roadway resurfacing. Construction is anticipated to last until September but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones and to avoid distracted driving.
