Eva J. Davis

Eva J. Davis, 101, of Frankfort, died February 10, 2025 at Creasy Springs Health Campus, Lafayette.  She was born August 11, 1923 in Frankfort, Indiana to Chester M. & Hazel B. (Lipp) Robison.  She married Richard “Dick” Davis on July 6, 1942 and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2008.

Eva was a 1941 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident.  She was a receptionist for Dr. Dupler at the Frankfort Medical Clinic for 14 years and had worked for the Clinton County Assessor’s Office for Omar Robley.  Eva was a member of Woodside Christian Church and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. Eva enjoyed bowling, golfing, sewing, reading, doing puzzles, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Eva is survived by her son, Philip E. (Katherine A.) Davis of Avon, IN, daughter, Nancy E. Donoho of Lafayette, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death 3 brothers, Chester A., Phillip E., Glenn E. Robison, a sister, Marybelle Lee and a son-in-law, Raymond Donoho.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon ~ 2 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  Entombment will be in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Green Lawn Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
