The City of Delphi announced an upcoming street closure for Friday in anticipation of the Indiana Bacon Festival in downtown Delphi.
The city stated that beginning Friday, Aug. 23 at 5 p.m., Main Street and Washington Street will be closed at the stop light and will extend to cover the festival parameters that have been outlined in previous years.
As well, North Union Street will close from Main Street to Franklin Street early Saturday morning.
Drivers are asked to remove their vehicles from the closure areas before they occur to avoid becoming trapped within the closures or needing their vehicle removed by festival organizers.
