Delphi Teacher Receives Delta Kappa Gamma Woman Of Distinction Award

A Delphi Community Elementary School teacher was recently awarded with the Woman of Distinction Award from the Delta Kappa Gamma – Theta Chapter for her dedication to her students within the Delphi Community School Corporation.

Delphi Third Grade Teacher Kate Evans was announced as the most recent recipient of the Woman of Distinction Award from Delta Kappa Gamma, which acts as an international professional teachers organization with the Theta Chapter serving both Tippecanoe and Carroll counties.

President of the Theta Chapter Carol Warner visited Delphi Community Elementary School on Wednesday to present the award to Evans for her continued dedication and appreciation of her students.

“Kate received this award for her outstanding teaching as well as other activities she is involved with in the community, such as coaching and the Delphi Parks Board,” the corporation released. “Congratulations Mrs. Evans. Well deserved.”
