A vehicle pursuit on State Road 25 in Carroll County into Tippecanoe County resulted in a felony charge for the driver.

According to a Delphi Police Department release around 12:30 p.m. today, Officer Jensyn Reef attempted to stop a vehicle on State Road 25 for a traffic violation, but the suspect fled southbound on State Road 25 until they reached Tippecanoe County.
The department stated that Carroll County Sheriff’s Deputies were able to reach the vehicle and assist with the pursuit, and the suspect eventually stopped and was taken into custody.
The department stated that initial charges were filed for resisting law enforcement, level 6 felony, driving while suspended prior, class A misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, class B misdemeanor, and operating without financial responsibility prior, class C misdemeanor.
No further information regarding the case has been released as of 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21.
