Delphi Elementary School has announced that forms are due this Friday, Nov. 15 for the Delphi Elementary School “Un-Fundraiser” Fundraiser that adds a unique twist to typical fundraising efforts.
An un-fundraiser intends to alleviate the hassle of trying to sell unwanted items to friends, family and coworkers by allowing community members to simply make a tax-free donation directly to the school. All proceeds raised through the un-fundraiser goes directly to the school and bypasses the additional time spent convincing people to buy items. Participation in the un-fundraiser is voluntary but appreciated by the school.
The suggested donation amount is $50, but any amount is graciously accepted. With a $50 donation, donors will receive a Delphi water bottle, and the top donation will be awarded a drone.
Donation Tiers:
- $50: “I do not want to sell Coupon Books, Candles, cookie dough or any other products. I will happily donate $50 so I do not have to do this.”
- $75: “I have no desire to talk to people about why they need certain items. Here’s a little extra for saving me the time of not having to do this.”
- $100: “I really wouldn’t have helped anyway, so here is my donation.”
- Custom: “I am making this donation to express my appreciation for having nothing to buy, sell or do anything except full out this form.”
Forms must be returned to Delphi Elementary School by Nov. 15.
