Dawn D. Bray, 71, of Frankfort, passed away April 20, 2025 at her home. She was born November 28, 1953 in Lafayette, IN to Nancy (Pletch) Thomas. She married Garry L. Bray on September 21, 2009 and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2015.
Dawn was a 1971 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. She had worked at Mallory’s for 20 years. She was a member of the Frankfort Eagles and a former member of the Moose Lodge #7. Dawn enjoyed baking, gardening, and spending time at the Eagles Lodge. She was a sweet person, loved to make people laugh and everyone knew her.
Dawn is survived by a nephew, Tobias Ward of Frankfort, step-daughter, Shannon (Robert) Cardwell of Frankfort, sister, Rebecca (Jay) Wampler of Stockwell, brother, Ron (Marci) Thomas of Chalmers, step-grandchildren, Brittany and Matt Speaks, Nicole Cheek and Alexcia Cardwell, 4 step great-grandchildren, great nieces and nephews, Tamaira, Tavaironna, and Tobias Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Randy J. Thomas.
No services are planned. Clinton County Crematory and Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort are assisting the family.
