Community members have been invited to celebrate and support local Clinton County Scouts at a special fundraising dinner on Thursday, Feb. 20 where Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets and the Scouts will be honoring Susan and Russ Kaspar for their dedication to the community and Clinton County Scouting.
The event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m. before dinner and the program begin at 6 p.m. at the Frankfort Neighborhood Center at 259 S. 3rd St. in Frankfort.
Crossroads of America Council, Scouting America has a long and proud history of shaping young minds and fostering leadership skills in our community. Through engaging activities, mentorship and character development programs, the Scouts learn valuable life lessons such as teamwork, responsibility, and outdoor skills.
The event will provide an opportunity to enjoy a meal in the company of fellow community members, hear from Mayor Sheets about the importance of the Scouts and their impact on the city and show support for the local scouting programs and its influence on young lives.
