Following a successful year of over $4.5 million in grants and scholarships being distributed across Howard, Clinton and Carroll counties, the Community Foundation Serving Howard, Clinton and Carroll Counties’ fundraising season with the 2025 matching grant is coming to a close in January.
The foundation, which has granted over $800,000 in Carroll County and $1.25 million in Clinton County, has encouraged community members to spend the last day of 2025 pondering giving to the foundation to take advantage of its current matching grant. For every dollar that is donated to an unrestricted community endowment fund, it will be matched with an additional $2, effectively tripling any contribution.
“As we approach the end of the year, we invite you to make a meaningful impact in our community with your year-end gift,” the foundation released. “Your contribution will support vital programs that enhance the lives of those around us.”
