Clinton Prairie won on senior night against county rival Clinton Central on Thursday.
The Gophers dominated set one, winning 25-11. Sets two and three were both back-and-forth battles but the Gophers were able to pull them both out winning set two 25-23 and taking set three 25-22.
Eden Speaks picked up eight kills and Carly Davison had seven kills in the loss for Clinton Central.
Clinton Prairie seniors Taylor Hornbeck, Hyleigh Wilson, Bella White, Natalee King, Abbey Swan, and manager Kaedyn Sweet were celebrated during the match.
Sectional play begins next week, and the Gophers and Bulldogs will compete in the Rossville sectional. Clinton Prairie is set to take on Traders Point and Clinton Central will play Rossville. For a full breakdown of volleyball sectional action, click here.
