Bauer Family Resources announced that a Clinton Prairie High School Gopher was awarded with an award for her service to the community.
Emerald Wallace of Clinton Prairie was surprised by staff from Bauer Family Resources with the Charles Mikel’s Citizenship Through Service award sponsored by HGI Solutions for her service to the Clinton Prairie community and the Clinton County community as a whole.
“Emmy was selected for this award because of her ongoing commitment to her community which includes her spending over 150 hours each year doing community service,” the organization released. “She was supported by Ms. Heim who submitted a letter of recommendation on Emmy’s behalf.”
The award was a part of the Bauer Family Resources annual Celebrate Youth Awards program, and the stories of all six recipients of the awards will be shared at an Evening of Grace event scheduled for June 27.
The event will include a silent auction, a dinner and a program for the community to enjoy with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the silent auction closing at 8 p.m. Bauer Family Resources released information regarding the event, stating:
