The Clinton County Special Olympics has announced that it will host a Car Wash Fundraiser tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 7 to raise funds for the athletes of the county program as they vie for the gold in numerous events throughout the year, such as the Sectional Cornhole Tournament set for Sept. 15 in Monticello.
The Clinton County Special Olympics Car Wash Fundraiser revs into gear tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the old Frankfort Police Department station at 201 W. Washington St. in downtown Frankfort as the athletes raise funds for their programs, which range from traditional sports, such as basketball, volleyball and bowling, to niche athletic opportunities, such as cornhole, bocce and equestrian.
