The Clinton County Purdue Extension Office is partnering with the Purdue University Fort Wayne Behavioral Health and Family Studies Institute to host a free Suicide Prevention Training next Wednesday.
The training will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Clinton County Fairgrounds Edward Jones 4-H Community Building at 1701 S. Jackson St. in Frankfort.
Attendees will learn about the warning signs of suicide, common causes of suicidal behavior, how to question, persuade and refer someone who may be suicidal and how to get help for someone in crisis.
