Clinton County Health Department Nurse Receives Statewide Immunization Award

The Clinton County Health Department is celebrating one of its own after Immunization Nurse Erich Schuerman, LPN, was named the Indiana Immunization Coalition’s 2025 High Flyer Award winner for Innovation in Immunization.

The statewide award recognizes individuals and programs that demonstrate exceptional dedication to improving the health of Hoosiers through innovative immunization efforts.

County officials praised Schuerman for his commitment to public health and the impact of his work within the community.

“Congratulations, Erich, on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for the important work you do for our community,” the county shared in a social media post announcing the honor.

The Indiana Immunization Coalition works to promote education, advocacy and access to immunizations across the state. The High Flyer Award highlights leaders making a meaningful difference in public health through creativity, outreach and service.
