The Clinton County Chamber of Commerce will host its Chamber Member Appreciation Day on Monday, July 1 to express its gratitude for the businesses that continue to support the Chamber and kick off the festivities of July.
The Chamber Member Appreciation Day is set to kick off Monday, July 1 beginning at 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Veterans Park in Frankfort. The event will act as an ongoing event where Chamber members are invited to attend at any time they are available between the timeframe. The event will provide attendees with pork burgers, hot dogs, chips and ice cream in a barbecue-style to show the Chamber’s appreciation and kick off the barbecuing season ahead of July 4, according to Chamber Membership and Communications Director Brande Seibert.
“That is free for our Chamber members, and we’d love for them to show up, and it’s a great way to network and meet fellow Chamber members,” Seibert said. “It’s just a day that we’re gonna just appreciate them, so why not have a barbecue.”
Chamber Executive Director Shan Sheridan echoed Seibert’s statements, expressing how the event will allow for Chamber members who may not interact commonly outside of events to come together and network.
“Mostly, it’s going to be a lot of networking and opportunity to talk to folks,” Sheridan said. “We just want to say thank you for being a Chamber member.”
