Christy Jean “Chris” Eitnier, 72, of Frankfort, died December 5, 2024 at her home, with her family by her side. She was born November 4, 1952 in Frankfort to John & Betty (Witsman) Huddleston.
Chris was a 1970 graduate of Frankfort High School and a life long Frankfort resident. She had worked in banking for over 30 years, with the majority in Clinton County Bank. Chris enjoyed reading romance and mystery novels, playing solitaire on her computer, playing poker, taking pictures, taking long drives in the country with her cousin Karen Keogh of rural Frankfort and would bet on the Kentucky Derby horse race.
Chris is survived by her son, Ian (Shannon) Eitnier of Frankfort, brothers, Dean (Pamela) Huddleston of Frankfort, John Scott (Judith) Huddleston of Romney, sister, Marsha Huddleston of Lafayette, brother-in-law, Larry Duhanell of Chesterton, grandchildren, Austin (Katelyn) Sattler of Frankfort, Kaylee Sattler of Galveston, Alyssa Eitnier of Colfax and great granddaughter, Eliza Sattler of Frankfort. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Adrien (Kevin) Miller of Chesterton, Victoria (Billy) Halfacre of LaPorte, Morgan (David) Hutsell of Frankfort, Kenzie (Caleb) Harris of Darlington, Jon Huddleston of Romney and Lauren (David) Berg of Lafayette.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lynette Duhamell.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 Green Lawn Cemetery. Dean Huddleston will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O.
