The Camden Jackson Township Fire Department released its call report for 2024 that outlines the calls that were handled by the team amidst their consistent training courses and community events.
The department released that it responded to 109 calls for medical, 32 calls for fire, 11 calls for wrecks, 2 calls for CO2 investigations, 12 calls that were disregarded, 1 call for a natural gas leak, 6 calls for alarms, 5 calls to assist police, 3 calls for weather and 37 calls for public service.
During the year, Chief Eric Foreman also received the MacQueen Excellence Award, and Chuck Foreman received his lifetime achievement award. The department also started a new class of firefighters in the fire 1/2 class.
“We are very thankful for our support from the community and everyone else,” the department released. “We are very thankful for our support from the community and everyone else. We would not be the great fire department that we are without the community support and the firefighters’ dedication.”
