The IHSAA released the brackets for the 2024 boys’ soccer sectionals.
Frankfort is set to compete in sectional 21 at Crawfordsville. The other schools in the sectional include Western, Benton Central, West Lafayette, Crawfordsville, Twin Lakes, and North Montgomery.
On the top of the bracket, Western gets a first-round bye and will play the winner of Crawfordsville and Benton Central scheduled for Monday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. On the bottom of the bracket, Frankfort draws Twin Lakes, the match is set for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 5:30 p.m. The winner of that match will take on the winner of West Lafayette and North Montgomery, set for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Frankfort is set to take on Twin Lakes in the final match of the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 5:30 p.m. at home.
Rossville, Delphi and Carroll also got their matchups in Sectional 38 at Taylor. Other schools competing in Sectional 38 include Taylor, Tri-Central, and Tipton.
At the top of the bracket, Carroll gets paired with Rival Delphi with the match scheduled for Monday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. The winner of that match will take on the winner of Taylor and Tri-Central set for the same day at 7 p.m. At the bottom of the bracket, Rossville and Tipton both get a bye into the second round and will play each other on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. for a spot in the sectional championship.
Western Boone will compete in Sectional 24 against teams from Lapel, Heritage Christian, Tri-West, Hamilton Heights, Park Tudor, and Guerin Catholic.
Western Boone draws Lapel in the first round at the top of the bracket, their match is set for Monday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. The winner of that match takes on Heritage Christan who snagged the first round bye. On the bottom of the bracket, Tri-West takes on Hamilton Heights and Park Tudor gets Guerin Catholic. Those matches will be played on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 5 and 7 p.m.
Lebanon will head to West Lafayette for Sectional Seven against teams from Harrison, Kokomo, Lafayette Jefferson, Logansport, and McCutcheon.
Lebanon will play the host school Harrison on Monday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. The winner of that will play the winner of Kokomo and McCutcheon. Lafayette Jeff and Logansport earn byes on the bottom of the bracket and will face off in round two on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
