The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has extended the Dense Fog Advisory until noon Thursday for portions of central, east central, north central, southwest, southeast and west central Indiana. Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog. Hazardous conditions are possible due to low visibility.
Affected areas are Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Madison, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, STippecanoe, Tipton, Vermilion, Vigo and Warren counties.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
