The Antioch Church announced that its long-standing tradition of operating a food stand at the Clinton County Fair will not be enacted this year after over 50 years of the members of the church providing the experience to fairground attendees.
The Antioch Church stated that after over 50 years of serving the community during the Clinton County Fair, they will no longer be able to continue operating the food stand, stating that the members who operate the stand every year will miss the interactions that are received during the time of service.
“We have enjoyed seeing all of you and we’ll miss the hustle and bustle of the week, but all good things must come to an end,” the church released. “That is true even for our food stand. We want to thank everyone who has supported us through the years. We wanted to let you know in advance that we won’t be there so that you can plan accordingly.”
