Anna Mae Miller, 96, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Campus in Delphi. She was born in Pyrmont to Edward and Minnie (Wagoner) Miller on January 21, 1927.
Anna Mae was a 1945 graduate of Rossville High School and then graduated from Lafayette Business College. She worked as an accountant for Alcoa for 37 years and retired in 1984. After retiring, she worked as a realtor for Loveless Agency. Anna Mae was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Pyrmont and Lafayette, the Alcoa 25 Year Club and Retiree Club. She served as a foster parent.
Anna Mae is survived by sister-in-law, Alice Gascho, and seventeen nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Lentner; brothers, Doyle, Paul, and Earl Miller; half-sister, Olive Bantz; half-brothers, Russell, Alton, Max, and Kenneth Miller; sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Miller and Marjorie Miller; and brother-in-law, Jack Lentner.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 3pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel. Burial will follow at Pyrmont Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heifer International. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
