Ann Douglas Good, 78, departed this life Friday, November 29, 2024. She had been a resident of Wesley Manor, Memory Care, since August 2024. She was the only child of ‘Phoenix’ and Mary Page (Chambers) Fuller, born August 27, 1946 in Winchester, Virginia.
She married James Hunter Good on April 29, 1965, during Apple Blossom, in Winchester, Virginia. They shared a common goal to live the best life possible and to give their children a life they could never have dreamed of. They succeeded and James survives.
Ann was employed by various businesses in each state that James and Ann were often relocated due to James’ employment opportunities. Always diligent with tasks, and always with a smile.
She leaves behind two children, Jacqueline Page Mewborn and husband, Mike, Carmel, Indiana and Kent Hunter Good and wife, Erin, of Indianapolis. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Joseph Mewborn, Westfield, Indiana and his wife Meredith, and Matthew Mewborn, Fishers, Indiana. One great-grandchild survives her also, Zadie Ann Mewborn, of Westfield, Indiana.
Ann was an amazing grandmother and her grandchildren are appreciative of the many hours she spent with them as they grew up, and the numerous athletic events she supported them in, no matter the miles of travel or the weather conditions.
Ann is survived also by her in-laws that were as close as siblings; Donald Good of Columbus, Ohio, and Loma McIntyre, Dolores Claycomb, Sally Rodgers, and Susan Good, all of Winchester, Virginia.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, James and Daisy Good and dear friends, Roy and Millie Cameron.
Ann will be remembered for her beautiful smile, as well as her most beautiful heart, sunny nature, and her kindness to those she knew and strangers met along the way. Her legacy of love for others will continue through those that loved her and knew her.
A private burial will take place, during Apple Blossom, Winchester, Virginia, in early May, 2025.
