Paul Brian Jones, 55, also known as “Clancy Carson” and “Vance”, of Frankfort, passed away March 30, 2026 at his home. He was born October 28, 1970, the oldest of his siblings, in Louisville, KY to Clarence Frank & Linda (Stanfield) Jones.
Paul was a 1991 graduate of Frankfort High School and attended Spartan College in Tulsa, OK. He was a painter, working for Josh Niccum, In the Niccum Time, painting business. Paul could often be seen walking & Playing guitar around Frankfort. He lived and breathed music, he enjoyed going to concerts with one of his favorite bands being KISS. Paul was our family historian.
Paul is survived by his mother, Linda Jones of Frankfort, siblings, Jennifer Diagne of Louisville, KY, Tim (Whitney) Jones of Fredericksburg, IN, Jess Jones of Frankfort, and Amy Roe, nieces and nephews, Kristin Mitchell, of Louisville, KY, Draven Wessel, of Frankfort, Kaytlyn Winburn, of Louisville, KY, Bradan, Adrian, Nadia and Grayson Wessel, all of Frankfort and Judah Jones of Frankfort.
He was preceded in death by his father.
