United Way continues its investment in Carroll County with new grant opportunities and ongoing support for local nonprofits.
United Way is also announcing that applications are now open for the next round of community grants.

Eligible organizations can apply at www.uwlafayette.org/carroll/2025funding/. The deadline to apply is January 2nd 2026.

To qualify, organizations must:
• Be a 501(c)(3) Health and Human Services nonprofit organization
• Align with United Way’s Cradle to Career Commitment and Basic Foundational Needs
• Be located in Carroll County or serve Carroll County residents

Funding is intended to strengthen local partnerships and ensure every resident has access to the
resources needed to live, learn, and thrive.

In the most recent funding cycle, United Way awarded grants to several local organizations for their
outstanding work in supporting Carroll County residents. These include:
• Upper Youth Room
• Carroll County Community Center
• LTHC Homeless Services
• Carroll County Senior & Family Services
• Heartford House
• Food Finders Food Bank

These partners are helping meet critical community needs — from addressing hunger and
homelessness to providing youth programming and senior support.

“We are proud to invest in organizations that are improving lives and expanding opportunities
across Carroll County,” said Jennifer Million, COO of United Way of Greater Lafayette. “Through
these grants, we’re expanding access to essential services that help residents thrive.”
