Clinton County public schools, Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Community Schools of Frankfort, and Rossville Consolidated School District, continue to demonstrate that locally governed, community-anchored public education works. As traditional public-school corporations, we serve every student who walks through our doors and are accountable to the communities that elect our school boards, fund our operations, and trust us with their children.

Strong Academic Outcomes Demonstrated in State Data

According to data released by the (IDOE), Clinton County public schools continue to deliver results in key indicators of student success, including:

Graduation Readiness — Clinton schools collectively meet or exceed state averages in graduation rate and in students graduating with at least one College- and Career-Ready (CCR) indicator.

Early Literacy Gains — IREAD-3 performance shows sustained growth in early literacy achievement, supported by evidence-based instruction and intervention.

Career & Technical Education Success — Students across all four districts earn industry certifications, dual credits, and participate in CTE pathways aligned to workforce needs — keeping talent local.

Attendance & Engagement — Indiana attendance rate data reflect the priority our districts place on the fundamentals: students in school, learning, every day.

Programs That Strengthen Communities, Not Just Classrooms

Clinton County’s traditional public schools serve as the central organizing institutions in each town, not only teaching students, but also fueling economic stability, community identity, and civic participation.

Our districts collectively offer:

Full-service extracurricular and athletics programs that build resilience, teamwork, and leadership
Career pathways and dual-credit access through partnerships with post-secondary institutions and employers
Special education and assistive technology support ensuring access for all learners
School safety planning and coordinated countywide response systems through the Clinton County School Safety Commission
Parent and community engagement programs that keep families involved and informed
A Collaborative Model That Puts Students First

While each district maintains its own identity, Clinton Central, Clinton Prairie, Frankfort, and Rossville work together, sharing safety planning, professional development, crisis coordination, competitive benchmarking, and legislative advocacy for public schools. This collaboration ensures that decisions are made not for any one building, but for the long-term health of the communities we all serve.
