According to 2023 data from the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), sexual harassment charges in the workplace have significantly increased, with a 28% rise in filings compared to the previous year, marking the highest number of harassment charges in the past 14 years; additionally, around 40% of employees reported experiencing or witnessing sexual harassment in the workplace, with bullying being the most prevalent form of harassment. Of workers who are harassed, 99.8% do not file formal charges.
