Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets has released a statement of thanks and appreciation for the community that continues to uplift others, especially during the holiday season.
As we gather today with loved ones on this Thanksgiving, let’s take a moment to express our gratitude for the many blessings in our community.
We are fortunate to live in a place where people care for one another. A special thanks to our first responders who sacrifice their time with family to keep our community safe. I am grateful for our dedicated city employees who work tirelessly to make Frankfort a wonderful place to live. Their efforts contribute to the safety, beauty, and functionality of our great city.
Our thoughts are with our brave military personnel who are away from their families serving overseas. May their Thanksgiving be filled knowing they have our love and support, and return home safely.
We’re also thankful for our local businesses that contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of our city. Their belief and investments to Frankfort makes a real difference. By shopping local, you help strengthen our community and create a vibrant downtown.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with joy, love, and delicious food. Take a moment today to cherish the time spent with family and friends, and create lasting memories. I pray that you have a safe and blessed holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving.
God Bless,
Mayor Judy Sheets
