Industrial Federal Credit Union donated supplies to develop trauma kits for the Delphi Police Department to aid with increasing the effectiveness of immediate responses to scenes.
The credit union’s donation allows for the squad cars to be equipped with trauma kits and water rescue throw bags to provide first responders with the essential tools needed to save lives.
The kits include tourniquets, Quikclot gauze, chest seals, CPR bag valve masks and more essential medical items.
The water rescue throw bags feature 100 feet of rope that is designed to help pull victims to safety during water rescues.
