Carroll County Announces Change Of Venue For Early Voting; Voter Registration Ends Today

With voter registrations being due today, Oct. 7, the Carroll County Clerk’s Office has announced the upcoming voting centers for early voting and Election Day for Carroll County residents.

The Clerk’s Office also announced that due to the upcoming Richard Allen Trial set for October, the voting location, which was the museum in the courthouse, has been moved for the 2024 General Election to the former Monical’s restaurant at 1022 S. Washington St. in Delphi. Early voting will begin on Oct. 8, and the voting center will still operate based on the courthouse hours.

“This was the only and best solution after many hours of searching the community,” Clerk Sharon Milburn said. “There are so many factors that can influence finding a location. I’m hoping that notifying the public will cut down on confusion.”
