Whitestown Police Issue ‘No Threat To Public’ Following Apprehension Of Suspects In Shots Fired Report Sunday Evening

The Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department stated that no threat to the public exists following the apprehension of suspects following reports of “shots fired” Sunday evening.

The department stated that early Sunday evening, officers responded to reports of shots fired on the Meadows on Main subdivision. Officers were reportedly dispatched to confirm that no community members were injured in the area.

Following an investigation, the officers reportedly identified, located and detained the suspects for questioning.

Further information is expected to be released today, Monday, Sept. 30 regarding the situation. The officers stated that no threat to the public remains.
