Suncrest Elementary School awarded six teachers with pins to commemorate their years of service to the school and the students that walk the halls of Suncrest.
Suncrest announced Mrs. Vickie Vestey, Mrs. Rhonda Rudd, Ms. Nicole Pompei, Mrs. Alise Arnold, Mrs. Silvia Valdes and Ms. Brenda Harrington were celebrating 25, 10 and 5 years of service with the corporation this year.
Vestey was awarded a pin for her 25 years of service, Rudd, Arnold, Pompei and Herrington were awarded pins for their 10 years of service and Valdes was awarded a pin for five years of service.
“A special congrats to this amazing group of teachers,” the school released. “Thank you all for dedicating your time and expertise to our CSF students.”
Earlier this week, Suncrest announced that Vestey and Rudd would enter retirement following the school year with a bittersweet departure as they embark on a new journey in their lives.
