Clinton Central School Corporation has released a survey for the Clinton Central community to weigh in on the implementation of delayed starts for the 2024-2025 school year.
Clinton Central Schools released a survey for parents and guardians to complete regarding the implementation of planned delayed starts for the upcoming school year.
“As we continue to uphold our commitment to providing the highest quality education for our students, I am excited to share with you a proposed initiative that reflects our dedication to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence,” Superintendent Jeremy Fewell wrote. “This intentional adjustment to our schedule is rooted in two key objectives: fostering ongoing professional development for our esteemed staff and enhancing our ability to analyze student data for targeted interventions.”
The corporation projects that delayed starts may help improve professional development for the staff by utilizing the time for professional development, which would include instructional strategies, technology advancements and best practices in education.
“Our educators are at the heart of our commitment to student success,” Fewell wrote. “This investment in our educators is a direct investment in the future success of our students.”
The delayed starts are projected to help the schools to analyze student data for interventions, allowing the administrative team and teaching staff time to analyze student data, identify trends and formulate targeted intervention strategies.
“Understanding each student’s unique needs is paramount to their academic journey,” Fewell wrote. “This data-driven approach ensures that we can provide personalized support to each student, fostering an environment where all learners can thrive.”
Clinton Central community members, parents and guardians are encouraged to complete the survey released by Clinton Central School Corporation to help the corporation to make the best decisions regarding the proposed delayed starts.
“Together, we can create an educational environment that not only meets but exceeds the expectations we have for our students,” Fewell wrote. “Your support and collaboration are crucial as we explore innovative ways to enhance the educational experience at Clinton Central School Corporation.”
