Clinton County Special Olympics Thundercats Place Well At Wabash College Tournament

The Clinton County Indiana Special Olympics Thundercats teams prospered at the tournament at Wabash College on Sunday with two silver placements and a 4th-place finish.

The teams finished with a silver placement for 5v5, a silver placement for 3v3 female and a 4th-place finish for 3v3 male in a tournament with teams traveling from Boone County, Clinton County, Howard County, Shelby County, Madison County, White County, Porter County, Hamilton County, Washington Township, Tippecanoe County, Montgomery-Parke County, Putnam County, Marion County, Decatur County, Marshall-Starke County, Delaware County and Monroe County.

The teams were playing hard in their new uniforms purchased by the Frankfort Eagles Lodge #976 alongside new warm up shirts and sweat towels to bring the teams together and showcase the talents of the Frankfort teams.

“So happy Frankfort Eagles was able to support Clinton County Special Olympics with the purchase of these new uniforms and towels along with practice shirts for all the members and staff,” Billy Birge of the Frankfort Eagles wrote. “It’s who we are and what we do. We are people helping people.”
