Boone County Law Enforcement Agencies Host Holiday Stocking Contest

The Lebanon Police Department announced the ongoing stocking contest between the local Boone County law enforcement agencies for friendly competition to spread festive cheer among the community.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Tony Harris, Lebanon Police Department, Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department and Zionsville Police Department designed and crafted stockings for the holiday season for the friendly competition, and the community is encouraged to vote for their favorite stocking by visiting the Lebanon Police Department Facebook page and placing a “like” on the photo of their favorite stocking.

“We want you to determine the winners of the best-decorated Christmas stockings,” Lebanon Police Department posted. “Let’s make this holiday season merry and bright together.”

Community members are encouraged to share the post containing the different stockings on their own social media, but the Lebanon Police Department stressed that only likes on the original post will count toward the total for that stocking to win. The voting will conclude on Dec. 22.

“Thank you for your participation,” Lebanon Police Department posted. “Happy Holidays!”

The original post with the stocking may be found on the Lebanon Police Department Facebook page.
