The 10th annual Frankfort Fire and Ice Festival brings Ice Sculptures, Fireworks and the Circle City Fire Performers to downtown Frankfort on Saturday February 8th.
Traditional Festival hours are noon to 8. The JayCees will publish final details soon, but according to Joel Tatum, the festival will be organized in much the same way as prior years. Clinton County Daily News and WILO Radio will publish any updates or changes as they are known.
Carving will start early Saturday morning and the festival will end after downtown fireworks Saturday evening. In prior years, fireworks have started at 7:30 PM.
The Fire and Ice festival founder was Dr. Jill Snyder 10 years ago and for the last 8 years, the Frankfort JayCees organized the event as a fundraiser.
The all time record for the number of sculptures carved at the event is 36. Event chairman Joel Tatum said he just received the ice prices for 2025. Ice prices have gone up some this year. Tatum said the JayCees will announce pricing for sculptures in the 2025 festival this week.
