The 48th Annual Flora Hog Jog

The town of Flora, Indiana is preparing to welcome residents and visitors alike for a cherished summer tradition—the 48th Annual Flora Lions Hog Jog, taking place on June 20, 2026. Hosted by the Flora Lions Club, this event continues to bring together fitness, family fun, and community support.

This year’s Hog Jog offers a variety of activities for participants of all ages and abilities. Runners can challenge themselves with a 10K race or a 2-mile run, while those looking for a more relaxed pace can enjoy the 2-mile walk. Younger participants are not left out—the popular 500-meter “Runt Jog” is designed במיוחד for children ages 2 to 7, making it a family-friendly highlight.

The day begins with a community breakfast served from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Northview Church. Proceeds from the breakfast will support a July Guatemalan Mission Trip, adding a meaningful charitable component to the day’s festivities.

New this year, the event expands beyond races with the addition of a car show and a wider selection of local food options. These additions aim to create a more festive, all-day atmosphere where attendees can relax, explore, and connect with the community.

With its mix of long-standing traditions, community generosity, and exciting new additions, the Flora Lions Hog Jog continues to shine as a hallmark event in Flora, Indiana—bringing people together for a day filled with activity, connection, and purpose.

For nearly 50 years, the Hog Jog has been more than just a race. It represents the spirit of local pride, volunteerism, and community unity. As the 2026 event approaches, its blend of cherished traditions and fresh experiences promises to carry that legacy forward for another memorable year.
