Patchy Fog Expected Overnight and Tuesday Morning Across Central Indiana

Central Indiana residents can expect a break from the recent summer heat, with mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures today and Tuesday.

This Afternoon:
Mostly sunny skies are expected, with a high near 80 degrees. A north-northwest wind will be around 11 mph, keeping conditions comfortable for outdoor activities.

Tonight:
Skies will become partly cloudy, with patchy fog developing after midnight. Temperatures will fall to around 60 degrees. North winds of 5 to 7 mph will become calm during the evening.

Tuesday:
Areas of fog may linger into the morning, mainly before 10 a.m. Afterward, skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 79 degrees. Winds will be calm early before becoming west at 5 to 7 mph during the afternoon.

Residents traveling Tuesday morning should use extra caution in areas where fog develops, as visibility could be reduced.

Overall, the next couple of days will bring comfortable temperatures, mostly sunny skies and a welcome taste of early fall-like weather for mid-August.
