Hot Dogs and Hornets Clash for Five-Set Thriller

Two of the top volleyball teams in the area came together for a battle at Frankfort’s Case Arena last night.

The Frankfort Hot Dogs defeated the Rossville Hornets in five sets, moving to 4-1 on the season.

Down 2-1, Frankfort rallied to win set four 25-16.

Set five went back and forth as neither team could build a lead. Leading 13-11, Frankfort freshman Brenly Brown came up with a huge kill to give the Hot Dogs three match points. The Hot Dogs put it away two points later, winning 15-12.

Brown posted a career-high 22 kills in what was her fifth high school match. She also picked up 15 digs in the win.
