Fireman 1st Class Fred H Boyer Killed In Pearl Harbor Homecoming To Final Resting Place In Kempton Indiana

More than eight decades later Tipton County U.S. Navy Fireman Fred H Boyer identified and brought home to his final resting place.

Indiana State Police escorted Boyer’s remains to Tipton County where he was Provided with military honors on Sept.30,2026, Where he gets to rest at his hometown Cemetery with his parents

Boyer was escorted by Kempton Fire Depart, Several chapters of Bikers and Young-Nichols Funeral Home.

The cemetery was well attended with Family, Friends of the Boyer family, Tipton community, Kokomo , Kirklin American Legion Men and Aux Ladies, SAR, DAR, Military from Tipton and many from Kempton – Boyer’s home town.
