Indiana has been under red which means due to the extreme dryness from the lack of rain, conditions are right for fire. Now isn’t a good time for brush burning or campfires.
Saturday a 911 call was made due to a field fire in Boyleston, Indiana.
Hillisburg and Michigantown grass rigs and other volunteers were on the scene quickly. The Railroad as well. The fire was due to the Railroad grinding the tracks.
Around 75 feet of farm ground was burnt. Thankfully the crops were already out of the field belonging to Clint Orr.
