The Delphi High School Cheer Team is hosting a raffle in the Delphi High School gymnasium this Friday, Jan. 10 to help raise funds for the team to attend UCA camp this year.
The cheer team will host the raffle this Friday, Jan. 10 during the varsity Delphi vs. Carroll basketball game beginning at 7 p.m. The funds raised will be utilized to help the team attend the UCA camp where the team learns from professional cheerleaders to refine their skills and compete for awards. The experience can be costly as the girls typically pay out of their own pockets, but the program is seeking to expand its fundraising this year to alleviate the financial strain of the cheerleaders.
The raffle will be for a gift certificate to Delphi’s Black Flag Tattoo Shop in the value of $100 off a service. Additionally, the team will raffle three one-month long memberships to Indiana Fitness Club in Delphi.
One raffle ticket will cost $5, and a bundle of three tickets may be purchased for $12. Different prize pools will be available to allow those participating to enter for the prize they want to win.
