Motors will roar and metal will fly when the Clinton County Fair Demolition Derby returns on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Frankfort.
Inspection for derby vehicles will begin at 12 p.m., with competition scheduled to start at 7 p.m. The event is expected to draw drivers and spectators from across the region for an evening of high-energy entertainment.
Multiple divisions will be featured, including Street Stock, Full-Size, Full-Size Street Stock, Compacts, and Youth Compacts. Cash payouts will be awarded to top finishers in each class.
Prize payouts include:
- Street Stock: $1,000 for first place, $400 for second, and $200 for third.
- Full-Size: $1,500 for first place, $500 for second, $200 for third, and $100 for fourth.
- Compacts: $1,500 for first place, $500 for second, $200 for third, and $100 for fourth.
- Full-Size Street Stock: $1,000 for first place, $400 for second, and $200 for third.
- Youth Compacts: $500 for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third.
Organizers note that all payouts are guaranteed based on a minimum of five cars per class.
